FAQS

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

  • To book an appointment you must submit a request here. If I decide to move forward with an appointment you'll be required to make a deposit to secure the time of the appointment (read all about deposits below).

ABOUT DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Once a date for an appointment has been offered to you, you will need to secure it with a deposit, which is NON-REFUNDABLE and it applies to the total cost. If you are scheduled for multiple sessions, the deposit comes off last session. You will be given instructions on how to make the deposit usually through Zelle or PayPal when you have been scheduled for an appointment.

  • Because of the amount of requests I receive, appointments are essentially first come first served and cannot be held without a deposit. If you are unable to make the deposit within a 24hr of being offered an appointment, I will be forced to offer it to who ever is next in line. You can choose to be put back on the waitlist for when new dates become available.

  • You are able to reschedule your appointment and transfer the deposit if you give me a 48hr notice. If you need to change your appointment for any reason after the 48 hr notice, you forfeit your deposit. If you need to cancel completely your appointment, you forfeit your deposit.

  • I will have a design ready for you the day of the appointment. You will be able to make adjustments if needed to make sure you are happy with the design. I do not share sketches beforehand. The final size will be decided once we print the stencil.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT A COVER UP?

  • Not all tattoos can be covered up and in some cases laser removal may be suggested/required to lighten up the old tattoo.

  • You should be open to:

  • A significantly larger tattoo than the area you want covered up (2x-3x minimum)

  • Color tattoo or black and grey tattoo.

  • Fine lines or minimal designs doesn't work to cover up.

  • Old tattoos and laser sessions must be at least 3-6 months healed prior to the cover-up.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR AFTERCARE?

  • Remove bandage after a minimum of eight hours. Except if you feel itching when using second skin, remove it immediately. If bandage sticks to the tattoo, wet the area with lukewarm water and slide the bandage off.

  • Wash the area gently with mild soap and water, using clean hands and making sure to remove all excess ointment, blood and ink.  Pat dry with a clean towel. do not scrub.

  • Apply a VERY THIN LAYER of aquaphor or A&D 2-3 times a day for 7 days.

  • After that apply fragrance-free hand lotion until the tattoo settle into the skin (approx. 3 weeks).

  • NO SUN, NO SWIMMING or SOAKING for 2 weeks.

  • NO SCRATCHING OR PICKING YOUR TATTOO.
